Perfusionist
Duties and Responsibilities: A clinical perfusionist knows how to
operate circulation equipment during certain medical situations. They must know
how to work with lung machines, administrate anesthesia, and give medicine.
Salary: $50,000
Education:
A high
school diploma or GED and having a strong background in science helps getting
into a perfusionist program. However the admissions is usually given to people
who have college studies. The training
is hands on and to be noticed the student must the supervised performance of
150 procedures to which 20 are infants.
