"To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice."
Confucius

Reflection: I think this is a very strong quote because we as humans we know what is right but still choose wrong. That’s why we have accidents, viruses, and problems. What I think Confucius means with this quote is too always choose the right even when it seems hard because after too get out of the problem might really be impossible. We always got to do what is right and many of those times your heart plays a big role in it well, at least for me. A good example of what this quote is trying to say is after you drink find someone who can drive for you that did not drink because the outcome of you driving can be fatal.

                                                              Wayne, New Jersey
What the four football players did was something that not many people would do. Anybody else would just get the merchandise and leave. Some probably might have taken the whole store. As a matter of fact I know people who would probably came back later that day or at that very moment taken anything they could have found. The fact that that they not only paid the money but the tax as well tells a lot about them. It shows how honest a person can be and do what’s right when right is needed. They looked happy in the video because they know they did right and seeing how happy the manager of the store looked made them happier.

Text Box: MY SUMMER

This summer I didn’t really do much. I didn’t travel or leave the country. I did go to TJ but that doesn’t count because it’s not even far from here where I live. I even got sick with the food I ate so that didn’t go well for me. I mostly exercised and watched T.V. I also went out with my girlfriend Jackie. I went to my cousins house and swam in the pool with the rest of my cousins. I played with my dog Guero I tried teaching him how to roll over but it didn’t work out because he does not listen. This show is about a boy who killed his aunt when he was 11 and then when he comes out of Juvenile prison and goes to high school another murder comes out to the light and they blame him but nobody knows who killed the girl. I started watching a television show that just aired this summer. It’s called Twisted and it’s my favorite show now. I wished my summer would have been better but I can’t do anything about it. I wished I could have gone on a vacation to somewhere I’ve never been too.  However I kind of wanted my summer to be over because I was excited to see what would happen senior year. It’s my last year of high school. This summer is my last summer as a high school student then I’m off to college to start my real life.

“Always do Right.”
Mark Twain

Reflection: Mark Twain is considered one of the best writers of all time. His quotes are not just quotes, by some people they’re considered a lifestyle. Like one of his biggest quotes, “Always do Right” which for me means to always follow the right path. Never let yourself be driven into another path by bad influences. Grow up to be a man or women of good. Become someone that your children would be proud of. I also think that no matter whom you become, give back and never forget where you came from or who helped you get to the top, if anybody did.

“Success is simple.
Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.”
Arnold H. Glasgow

Reflection: Arnold’s quote is strong in the sense that it’s nothing but the truth. It’s simply saying to do what’s right at all time. Honestly doing bad stuff is not going to take you anywhere but too more problems. I also think that this quote has double meaning but who knows.

This new school year, is the last year for me in high school. I'm excited to see how it goes and what happens. I need to finish strong so that I can be proud of myself when I graduate. I want to see what college I get accepted to. Sometimes I want high school to be over and others I don't because I know I will miss it. After coming not only from HP but I also was at another school before HP, I've made new friends and I could say that moving here has been one of the best choices I've made.
