"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."

David A. Bednar

As long as you're obedient there is nothing you cant do. Following orders is the key to being successful  if you really want o be great one day then do what your teachers ask you do to since day one. Listen to what your parents say because they just want the best for you. No matter what your parents are always going to be the ones that care about you the most and want you to succeed more than you may want it.

Progress Post (Part 2)
So far i have reached a couple of my listed goals. I will continue to work hard both at work and at school. There are some goals that i really want to reach while others can wait and can be reached later on in life. I know that reaching a goal does not just come to you it sometimes take blood, sweat, and tears but i can work with that.
Part 1

"Obedience is the great test of life."

Thomas S. Monson
If you know how to listen then you know how to do a lot of things. Listening is always the key you can either listen and succeed or not listen and fail. There are some people who don't listen and end up in life threatening situations. I believe that when you listen and follow directions and accepting them in a good manner it makes you a better and stronger person that future generations can look up too.

“Obedience…is the primary object of all sound education.”
Elizabeth Missing Sewell

You can do whatever you want with education. It opens the gates to millions of opportunities. Like somebody once told me the things you can do with education are endless. When it comes to learning no one can tell you no, if you want it then you can get it. Just set your mind to it and do whatever it takes to reach it.

“The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have.”

Boyd K. Packer

If you obey what your parents say chances are they will give you more freedom. With more freedom you will be able to do things that will make you feel free and happy. Obedience

Obedience means to obey what others tell you to do, specifically older people in charge of you. Words that mean the same are submission, subservience, and deference. An example would be when your mom asks you to throw the trash and you do it, that’s being obedient.  Not doing it would be not being obedient.

You always have to do right, at all times. The quote clearly says that the right, at times might seem wrong but it has to be done. As well as the wrong might seem right but it shouldn’t be done. “Cowardice asks the question - is it safe?
Expediency asks the question - is it politic?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular?
But conscience asks the question - is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because it is right.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This quote is true because sometimes we do stuff just to follow the crowd or sometimes we don’t do stuff because we’re scared. The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon:

Self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger

This statement is true because you shouldn’t have to get something out of doing what’s right the fact that you did it should be rewarding itself. Feeling good inside and knowing that you may be helping someone else is rewarding itself. I know that when I do something to help my parents I feel like a good person and I don’t ask for a reward and that’s what makes it good.
