Histology Specialist
 

Duties and Responsibilities: Histologists have to cut thin slices of tissue and then prepare them so that they can be viewed through a microscope. Doing this they can see if the patient has a disease or anything.

Salary: $22,000 - $50,000

Education: Anybody who wants to be a Histology Specialist should have a diploma or GED. They must also have an associate’s degree in the field. They must also complete a long term training and then pass a national exam.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be a Histology Specialist? Why? Why not?

I think that I would like to be a Histology Specialist because it seems like a fun job. It looks like if you always have something to do.
