Duties and
Responsibilities: Optical Laboratory Technicians are the ones who fit
the lenses into frames and make glasses that are prescribed. They are
specialists when it comes to putting them together and cleaning. Many of them
have their own stores.
Salary: $15,000 -
$20,000
Education: To start
off you will need a high school diploma or GED. The training lasts about six
months to a year and is offered by many vocational schools and community
colleges and you can even get on-the-job training, by some at stores.
